Review of Battle: Los Angeles (2011) by Se7En — 15 Mar 2011
Great movie, full of great action, with decent story, characters and acting. Aaron Eckhart does an outstanding job portraying an experienced father figure character in a movie full of young 18 - 20 year old characters.
Many make the mistake of assuming the characters are immature and childish, however most people forget that the characters these actors are portraying are under the age of 20, including the lieutenant himself.
Eckhart gives an emotional performance in a few smartly placed scenes which help with the pacing of such a tense, fast action film. All in all, the best movie I've seen in two years. Entertaining, and far from boring, and it has enough originality to keep you on your seat the whole way through.
