Review of Battle in Seattle (2007) by Sterling T — 27 Oct 2008
There are some great moments, but melodrama like what happens to Charlize Theron's character brings the message down. I found the beginning of the film to be too much liberal propaganda. It basically explains the WTO and that it is evil as if that is some absolute.
The film would've done just fine without this opening, and would've been a much better film if it was made without political bias. That said, it's still a decent movie with a pretty decent cast (except for Michelle Rodriguez who can't really act, but Ray Liotta gave an unusually good performance which evens it out).
