Review of Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973) by Gordon C — 10 Aug 2008
A moment that intrigued me in this film was where Caesar says that the Orangutan who guards the armoury was his teacher as a child... but according to the previous movie, when he was a child Caesar was the only ape who was able to speak. Is it likely he'd have had as a teacher an ape who couldn't speak?
Come to that, how did all the apes learn to talk so quickly? In the last movie, they were all mute, now they're talking up a storm.
Oh well, the whole movie is nonsense anyway, so I suppose it doesn't really matter much...
