Review of Batman: Year One (2011) by Jason T — 20 May 2012

I've always been a fan of Frank Miller's Batman. From DK1, DK2 until Year One. The best Batman film in my list is even Batman Begins which was taken also from the graphic novel, year one.

Now here comes Batman YEAR ONE, the animated Film who tainted the achievement of the YEAR ONE book and motion picture. This animated film tries to recapture the detective prospective of the book into Gordon's character. And the outcome is a boring hour of Gordon's early life.

Though the action sequence were great coz of modern CGI, still the movie fails to intrigue me as the book had. Frank Miller's Batman is all about the great plots and insight of Batman as a detective in facing crimes.
