Review of Batman: Year One (2011) by Raji K — 12 Jul 2012
Batman : Year One is like the pages of a graphic novel spliced together into a movie. The film as the title somewhat implies, covers the very beginning of Batman's career and the up coming of police investigator Gordon.
The film really focuses on the two and how they struggle with their personal lives. The film has quite a dark tint to it and is narrated similarly to Sin City. The inclusion of Cat woman seemed a bit forced given the short time frame, but the film covers good ground in just an hour and is worth seeing for any Batman fans.
