Review of Batman: Year One (2011) by Krzysztof Z — 12 Jul 2012
A very good adaptation of the comic book, although not perfect, but maybe it wouldn't be as good if they kept wholehearteadly to the graphic novel. The animation roughly resembles Batman: The Animated Series, several scenes have been added and others omitted, but the most important things, even the not-so-much PG-13 stuff, has been kept - and kudos for that. Voices are mostly very good, but something about Batman's voice didn't work for me, though that may be because I'm so used to Kevin Conroy's voice and still consider it superior to all the others.
Good stuff, recommended for pretty much everyone who accepts the comic-book / animated movie stylistics and can turn a blind eye to some of the stuff requiring more suspension of disbelief.
