Review of Batman: Year One (2011) by Kieran F — 12 Jul 2012
This is an AWESOME adaption of A Frank Miller Classic almost page by page adaption of one of bat-mans best. Anyone though that has read the comic knows that tech. this film isn't about Batman it's more about Gordon and his family.
Although not as entertaining as Bat-Man Begins it's still good. NOR is it as good as Under the red Hood but it is up there for comparison of a great Bat-Man film. My only low..Is it too short(even for an animated film) but it's still enjoyable.
I also thought that the Voice acting of Bruce seemed..dry like..I know the script is a page by page adaption of the Miller Classic and that Bruce/Bat-Man wasn't really the center but this guy could've done a better job at showing his emotion for the character.
Like OBVIOUSLY he's no where NEAR as good as Kevin Conroy(Bat-Man The animated series) But even the guy that did the voice acting for batman under the red hood,Bruce Greenwood, was better then this guy.
This guy just..well..sucks. but other then that the film is true to it's source materiel and is an enjoyable addition to the series.
