Review of Batman: Year One (2011) by George L — 12 Jul 2012
Ok, so I'm a Batman fan whose watched all Batman films and animations (...yes including Brave and the Bold) except for the campy 60's version; so it was a shoe in I would like this film. But this time I don't want to talk about how great Batman is, but just how bad-ass Lieutenant Gordon (he was not yet a commissioner) is.
Gordon in Year One is grade A bad ass; and it's great how well this film captures the very strong motivators that turned Bruce Wayne into Batman and Gordon into well... Gordon. Another thing I must do ASAP is erect a shrine for Frank Miller #enoughsaid.
