An OK Batman story about revenge and redemption and a haunted past (pretty typical of Batman). Good animation and lots of action, but in aiming for the PG-13, they seem to have lost some of the charm of Batman: The Animated Series.
I'm not against the brutality. Batman frankly should be brutal. But this seems to have sacrificed fun for brutality. And it's just not all that interesting. Not bad, but nothing really special.
