Review of Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010) by Dale J — 06 Nov 2010
Quite the entertaining watch. The animation looks beautiful with the tweaked stylization and mix of graphics. Action scenes were incredibly well choreographed and entertaining. I also appreciate that it did not shy away from a little more violence than previous animated DC movies.
Even the soundtrack during the credits was gripping, just slightly below Hans Zimmer. My only gripe is that the script and voice acting is very hit or miss, particularly the Joker, the Red Hood, and Night Wing.
The script was not as great as it could've been compared to say... Mask of the Phantasm.
