Review of Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010) by Damon S — 21 Nov 2010
A much more violent cartoon than I ever expected. This had swearing, which is totally new to me. It had some really cool fight sequences, and a nicely wrapped up plot. Some of the voice acting surprised me.
Everyone did a good job don't get me wrong, but I never expected Neil Patrick Harris or Jensen Ackles to do a cartoon Batman movie. You can pretty much guess how the movie will end, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy every moment.
It's gritty and dark for a cartoon so I like that it breaks the mold. Don't watch it with the kids, but watch it with teenagers. Or just for fun. I recommend this to any batman lover.
