Review of Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010) by Shane L — 25 Jul 2013
If a chapter in Batman's story is going to resonate, it has to be both emotional and carry philosophical weight. This one does. The story itself contains complexity without being overwhelming. Understandably, it is an animated film so it does run a little short.
I would have liked to be in the world a little longer. The climax is both heartbreaking and moving, and the moral consequences of Batman's code are wonderfully addressed.
