Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Shakhawat K — 25 Jul 2016

There are two parts of the movie, the first part is about Batgirl and Batman and how their relationship broke and later mended when a mobster story ensues. The second part is called "The Killing Joke" and it's a faithful and brilliant adaptation to one of the most beloved comic book/story arc of all time.

The first part is very extra and poorly executed in more ways than one, but the second part is beautifully made by Hamill and Conroy's performances. The animation is serviceable while paying homage to the earlier Batman shows' styles, but what brought this film from the "2-star" beginning to a "5-star" ending is indeed the two main voice actors.
