Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Jared T — 27 Jul 2016
A psychological thriller that is very unsettling at times but with the source material it really brings a new presence to Batman and the joker on the screen that we've only seen before on a comic book page. A Batman story that's borderline horror genre. And also, the Barbara prelude scene to me was very necessary to add depth to her fate, it just felt in the way considering it took up 30 of the 80 minutes of screen time.
All in all a great film. No doubt this will be considered underrated in the future.
