I love this story, it is so dark and unsettling and offers us the best insight we have into the Joker's psyche. This movie fell short of what the novel achieved. I didn't hate it, but it felt empty.
The animation seemed rushed, though the overall look of the film was a beautiful replication of the original graphic artwork.
