Killing Joke tries much harder in character and emotional depth for a Batman story than Zack Snyder did (although too hard since it hurt), but overall struggles to find out how to use Batman other than putting in an unfascinating extra 30 minutes at the beginning that has no coherent adhesion to the comic book-based story, and by drawing art so simplified and toned down than seen in the comic book, this official movie fails to live up to the YouTube-made video by MovieCreedLive.
