Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Justin P — 04 Aug 2016
Batman: The Killing Joke. The first time I read this comic I was amazed how good the story was. It was a bit brutal but still amazing. Then they made the animated movie of the killing joke and I freaked out, there was so much hype for this movie because it was rated R for disturbing content, and language.
It finally came out today and the minute I woke up I bought it, it got really good ratings and I felt like it was a must see(knowing me). The movie wasn't an exact replica of the comic, which I liked a lot, it was intense and very very detailed.
This was the first DC animated movie to be rated R and they nailed it. They added a couple major story plots to it which was confusing at first because you would've never expected it and it seemed weird but it worked nicely.
10/10 this movie is by far the best animated DC movie of all time.
