Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Donald N — 07 Aug 2016
The beginning felt like an episode of Batman: The Animated Series, which was t a bad thing. I did its job building up TE relationship between Batman and Batgirl. Once the Joker comes into play you get a sense of where his is going, just like the graphic novel, to a dark place.
Mark and Kevin once again shine in their respective roles and really make this a great film for fans of their work in the Batman genre. As a huge fan of this graphic novel I was happy that it stuck mostly to the source material.
Even the origin for the Joker in this adaptation was well done.
