Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Kevin G — 22 Jul 2016
The interaction mainly between Batman and the Joker, as well as James Gordon provided an engaging story which wonderfully explored the core characteristics of characters and put them to a test. Unfortunately, a certain part of the film's first act had Batman acted out of his established characterization, thus unnecessarily reducing the storytelling's integrity.
Nevertheless, the storytelling overall would still surpass many others from the superhero film genre and this itself makes up for what seems to be lacking visual quality.
