Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Nathan B — 15 Aug 2016
I'm not much of a reader, including comic books and graphic novels so I have never read the book however as a huge batman fan I went out and bought this movie. I know it hasn't gotten it's fair share of goodreviews because of its inaccurate portrayal to the novel but if you just want to watch a good movie at the end of the day this is it.
The voice acting was amazing (as always with Mark Hammil) the score fit each scene to perfection the animation was not as cringe worthy as people may say I thought it was fine (i watched the blu ray on a 24" 1080p TV) WARNING: do not overlook the R rating and show this movie to kids it is NOT the campy batman movie they know and more like a Grim fairy tale.
minus 1 star for the unimportant character of Paris Francisco.
