Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Ryan C — 07 Sep 2016
This by a lot is not The Killing Joke. The first thirty minutes are insulting to anyone who had any hope that this adaptation could come the closest it could be to faithful. The only light in the bleak tale is when Mark Hamill returns as The Joker we were all hoping for and the fun nostalgia of hearing him teamed up again with Kevin Conroy's Batman, even if the Batman in this acts more like he was written by Frank Miller than Alan Moore.
Some of the animation is well done but that is all the positive I can give to this disappointment.
