Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Luca M — 21 May 2017
Disturbing and horrifying in all the wrong ways, "Killing Joke" fails to set it's haunting tone until two-thirds through the film. With a mediocre but at least some what acceptable opening act, by the time the third act begins, the movie begins to feel like a twisted, poorly-made porn movie.
It's unfortunate that while strong in some scenes, the good parts cannot outweigh the bad.
