"Oh, lets humanise the Joker. Lets give him an origin story, and a reason for being a homicidal maniac." Uh, no. Stupid idea. The entire point of the Joker is that he has NO ORIGIN. There is no explanation for him.
Logic does not apply to him. We shouldn't even know where his clothes are made, let alone what makes him tick. That's why this movie bombed, and deservedly so.
