It's a suitably thrilling conclusion to one of most revered works in Batman history. The introduction of Superman as the US's weapon against the Soviet Union is a bit of a dated plot point, but the final showdown between the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader demonstrates a perfectly well balanced spectacle.
The upcoming live action Superman/Batman film should be looking at this film for ideas.
