I know this is flawed and not spectacular. But I began to enjoy this over the years. I was scared of it when I was younger but now I am a fan of the film. The atmosphere is still there and Michael Keaton's return is still wonderful.
It's darker and very twisted and yes is not faithful to the original source material for the Penguin in the comic series. But still in a way Burton makes it work. I do have an enjoyment factor thrown into the film for it's crazy over the top sense of insanity where it is still down right enjoyable and is quite nostalgic for me.
