As someone who doesn't like the first movie that much, this is a big improvement. It's just better. For starters it doesn't feel like a film from the 60's. I think Michelle Pfiffer helps a great deal. As equally beautiful as she is to Kim Basinger, she obviously has alot more to do than Kim did to be fare, but she is a great Catwoman.
It's hard to put my finger on, but Returns is just a better film in everyway.
