With effective cinematography, involving plot, wonderful characters and quite memorable Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito performances, Batman Returns is a bit too sexual and it may lack a real sense of danger, but it is also a thrilling, entertaining, technically superb film and a sequel that is genuinely better than the original.
