Review of Batman Returns (1992) by Ken S — 25 Jul 2012
Tim Burton and Michael Keaton return in this sequel to their blockbuster hit "Batman". The movie isn't as good as the first, but it isn't nearly as bad as the films that followed. Danny DeVito is great as Penguin, as is Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman.
Keaton will always be Batman to me. The film is certainly more of a Tim Burton film than a Batman movie...its visual style just screams Burton. I love the movie, even if it doesn't hold up to scrutiny as well as the first.
