Review of Batman: Gotham Knight (2008) by Sean R — 07 Jan 2010

This wonky anime is supposed to take place somewhere between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, but other than a few similarities, I really donâ??t see it. The opening story of a group of skaters recalling their brief encounters with Bats is kinda cool but the dialogue is Yo Yo Yo lame and the Batman Animated Series did a similar story much, much better.

The depictions of Bruce Wayne are ridiculous and those billionaire centric tales are rather boring. I do like the Dead Shot closing tale and Killer Croc is a cool villain if he had lasted more than a couple minutes.
