Review of Batman: Gotham Knight (2008) by Adam E — 28 Nov 2010
6 manga style shorts that all build up to a cracking deadshot story at the end. The first couple build up the myth of batman and the criminals which inhabate gotham and then it introduces the super criminal elements to the story culminating in the best animated and most fun sequance with batman vs deadshot (thou deadshot should have been harder in my eyes).
The animation styles vary but are all great to watch especially if you are a fan of manga. like all anthologys theres some that are better than others (deadshot and the killer croc segments been my favourites) and thou its different in styles the story all interlock nicely and they all keep the overall feeling of gotham city as been a crime hole.
Dont know if this is one that your going to watch on a regulair basis but its easily digestible and the pace even on the more action less stories is quite fast and at a slim 70 odd minutes it never gets tiresome.
