Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Mark M — 30 Aug 2012
I can't believe I thought this was decent when I was a kid. This is a cheesy, very lame movie. I was certainly geared towards kids. Sure there are a few fun moments, but after seeing the new Batman films that Nolan did, and I still really enjoy the Burton Batman films, it just goes to show how craptastic Shumacher is, and how important a good director is to a film franchise. The amazing thing is that this is better than the next film he made which is horrendous.
And finally let me just say that the scene where Chis O'Donnell hangs up his laundry may be the lamest scene in film history. O'Donnell was a terrible choice for Robin.
