Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Daryl K — 11 Nov 2012
After 'Batman Returns' frightened children, Warner Bros. kicked Tim Burton to the curb, allowing director Joel Schumacher to unleash this day-glo nightmare on us. Pretty terrible by any definition, but Val Kilmer doesn't make a bad Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Jim Carrey plays a campy, but entertaining Riddler.
Tommy Lee Jones is god-awful as Two-Face, though. Bad as this was, no one could've prepared us for what was coming next.
