Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Scott A — 01 Mar 2013

My favorite of the original Batman series. It wasn't as dark as the originals, and not as campy as the next one would be. I did feel Jones was a bit too over-the-top and the Bat nipples were dumb. But Kilmer was pretty good to replace the best Batman ever, Keaton. And having my favorite actor and actress in their only film together, Carrey and Kidman, was amazing. I actually liked the new score they gave it, but stuff like the new light crazy Batmobile I wasn't too sold on.

The action is great and a lot of humor in this. Robin's back story is a nice touch and I believe they actually used the real back story of Two-Face in a video footage thing.

Some really good supporting players. Is it hard to imagine Drew Barrymore was in this and she was one of the lesser known at the time?
