Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Darkwingschmuck — 03 Mar 2022

Joel Schumacher's first time in the directors chair turns the Batman franchise into a complete farce. Val Kilmer -- taking over for Michael Keaton in the lead role -- does his best to add any sense of dignity to this film, while Jim Carrey and the otherwise brilliant Tommy Lee Jones ham it up to 11.

At least the set designs are still good, despite the overuse of neon lighting and dutch angles.
