Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Westleigh Q — 09 Mar 2013

Even though this is when the Batman franchise really started to get cheesy and over the top, somehow this movie managed to be an enjoyable ride. The addition of Robin added some interesting depth, and the cast was just great all around.

I mean who else could play the riddler but Jim Carrey? For reals though. I also liked how Forever seemed to move away from a dark thriller to more of a blockbuster action-adventure flick. While it pales when compared to the Nolan-era films, for something released in 1995, not too shabby.
