Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Dylan V — 24 Mar 2013

The slippery slope continues here. There's a lot to like, and a lot not to like about this foray into Gotham City. Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne was easy to like. Chris O'Donnell was not so easy to like. Jim Carrey was fine until he actually became the Riddler, and Tommy Lee Jones did an interesting reprise of Billy Dee William's character from the first Batman movie. Really, Two-Face was not a cartoon character, I wish he hadn't been played like one.

Sigh . . . we can only hope Aaron Eckhart does better.
