Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Lincoln K — 22 Jul 2014

This film traded Tim Burton for Joel Schumacher is the directors chair and while both are visual artists, they have differing styles. Still, while lighter in tone than the previous films, this one is still entertaining.

Val Kilmer doesn't bring the gravitas that Keaton played his part with but he still looked the part and did a decent job. Tommy Lee Jones was a bit too hammy as Two-Face though Jim Carrey mostly worked in the comedic role of the Riddler.

Chris O'Donnell is introduced as Robin here, and while he is a decent actor, he was probably too close in age to Kilmer to work in this role, as they appear more like brothers than mentor and pupil.
