Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Jedi C — 26 Aug 2012
The characters of Batman, Robin, and the Riddler lived up to the characters in the source material. However, Two-Face was fairly written, and Tommy Lee Jones delivered a fair performance as Harvey Dent/Two-Face and acted very comical like a parody of Two-Face but he was as maniacal as he was in the source material.
Val Kilmer was flawless and better than Michael Keaton and Bruce Wayne/Batman, Chris O'Donnell makes a good Dick Grayson as Robin and perfectly acted like Nightwing (In the source material, Dick goes from Robin to Nightwing).
Jim Carrey as the Riddler and Nicole Kidman also delivered flawless performances. Batman and Robin as a team also live up to the characters in the source material as they feature strong themes of teamwork.
