Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Bardia M — 31 Mar 2013

This was an enjoyable movie for me to watch. I know right? Both the story and the characters were good. However the actors who played these characters were not right for the part. Tommy Lee Jones felt too over the top to play a character like Two-Face.

Two-Face is supposed to be conflicted and aggressive. I thought Jim Carrey did an ok job as the Riddler but was a bit cartoonish. Val Kilmer made a great Bruce Wayne but a not so great Batman, and Nicole Kidman's performance was good.

This film was much more watchable for me than Batman Returns was. If we can't agree on that, well there is always Batman and Robin.
