Review of Batman Begins (2005) by Aiden A — 09 Jul 2014
This was Christopher Nolan's first attempt at Batman and I love it, it was much more grounded in reality than the Burton films and thankfully darker and grittier than that other directors movie. However this movie had three major problems, thankfully two of them were fixed in the dark knight:
1.Katie Holmes: She completely drained the life out of every scene she was in. Thankfully she was recast in The Dark Knight, thank god.
2. Shaky Cam: Sometimes the camera was jumping around during fights and you can't even tell whats going on. They fixed this in The Dark Knight.
3. Not Enough Scarecrow: This one was never fixed in the dark knight. He's kind of there then he's not.
Despite these flaws it's still a great movie.
4/5.
