Review of Batman Begins (2005) by Owen B — 30 Nov 2014
The first of a brilliant trilogy. Batman Begins sets the scene well, using a good balance of set up and action. The film progresses well in quite a complex way, building up to the attack on Gotham. Surprisingly though, this end section is the bit that I would have liked to have seen more of.
Yes, there was screaming, but we don't get quite the expected situation of a city being almost completely destroyed - this part was just a little too hero orientated. Other than that the film was great.
