Review of Batman and Harley Quinn (2017) by Kyle K — 19 Aug 2017
It's certainly better than The Killing Joke but there's something missing when you have Melissa Rauch playing our infamous anti-villain Harley Quinn rather than beloved Tara Strong. Not to mention they put a lot of attention on [Harley Quinn's] sexuality. Not that there is any problem with that here as Harley Quinn is somewhat known to have some sort of sexual undertone but it forces an unnecessary sex scene between her and Nightwing, and we all know what happened with Batman and Batgirl in The Killing Joke. It was not good.
Regardless, this actually did have many enjoyable moments regarding the humour and the predominant voice acting of Kevin Conroy as Batman.
All in all, give it a shot if you liked The Killing Joke or just wanna kill some time with a pretty funny animated Batman movie.
