Review of Batman (1989) by Anthony D — 21 May 2013
Tim burton and the cast are as competent and energy driven as their clever script could enforce, but when the film spans off to focus on bruce wayne's life, without the intrusion of the batman visard the film can trail along rather blandly, and possibly even bore the audience.
That said the film is excellently made and sports a character or two written to overshadow the central figure. Fun, but could've been funner.
