Review of Batman (1989) by Wedstarfish 8 — 07 Jul 2016
Close to 20 years after the release of the film adaptation for a television series that was popular in the 60's titled, "Batman: The Movie," we have a much more darker and intense take on the origin of Batman. And throughout watching, it was honestly, a great and fun experience.
Batman centers around the story of Batman, the brutally strong and brave masked superhero, who goes around the city of Gotham, putting stop to mayhem, violence, and crime. Batman has way more beef with The Joker then he did in the last film, and they obviously, don't get along really well. The Joker has many plans to take over the world and cause mayhem with the help of his villain buddies, and Batman is ready to put a stop to it.
Being a much more dark, intense, and violent take on Batman, it's still incredibly enjoyable and well directed and even acted at some times. Honestly, can't say any more things then how good this film really is.
