Review of Batman (1989) by Leo L — 23 Apr 2014
While watching Batman you need to realize Tim Burton was much more focused on the twisted mind of The Joker than on a story actually about the Dark Knight, he's almost a secondary character, almost as if he was only in the film as a necessity.
Needless to say, Keaton is a fine Batman and the film's thrilling, but really it would be nothing without Jack Nicholson's powerhouse performance. Where does he get such wonderful toys?
