Review of Basic Instinct 2 (2006) by Irene C — 27 Oct 2007
Ok people. this was not the greatest movie in the world but it was not as bad as the critics said it was. ok so the second time around, starts sort of the first way as the first one. catherine tramell and her lover for the moment are doing nasty things while she is driving, they go off the bridge and instead of her helping the guy, she only saves herself.
then the movie starts, the movie reflexs a bit on the original, but there is no girl on girl action, the ice pick only comes out once, there are no insinuating scenes in the police department, it is much tamer than the first one.
in fact that is why probably the criticts did not like it. it is more of a movie, than the first one. while the first one messed up with fantasies and brains, this one just messes up with your brain. but I think it was worth the viewing.
I do recommended it but please no kiddies in the room, the movie is still based on r rating.
