Of course with the first film being so clever and intriguing, I can see why critics panned this. But I will mark it as a complete individual film, that being said I DO love the references made to the plot line from the predecessor.
and I now have reason to believe sharon stone could play this character backwards (p.s still looking fine at an older age) I think this movie tried a little too hard to be smarter than it truly was, I mean- we all know catherine tramell is an evil bitch.
no need to confuse us with an elaborate plot line. that being said, it was thoroughly entertaining and oozes 'guilty pleasure' all in all, good movie.
