Review of Basic Instinct (1992) by Wesley V — 17 Aug 2014
I hadn't seen this since its initial release in 1992. At the time it was released, I was underwhelmed. Now, decades later I wonder why I dissed this pulpy trashy gem. It is lurid, it is silly, and it is full of hard boiled dialogue and gratuitous sex.
On second viewing I say, "what's not to love?".
