Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Lasse C — 22 Aug 2009
Ponderous, enigmatic and atmospheric Coen movie. The Coen's put together a deep frightening movie with this one and even though it can be somewhat hard to understand the talent of the brothers cannot be denied.
Symbolism pervades the movie and it will require additional viewings before I will understand it. The fact that I want to see it again is what makes this such a good movie.
