Review of Barton Fink (1991) by Djangolulu S — 29 Mar 2011
As dark as comedies get. John Turturro and John Goodman both turn in astounding performances. Goodman in particular steals the screen in every scene he's in--par for the course in terms of his roles in Coen flicks.
Fink creates an incredible atmosphere with the setting which quite literally starts coming apart at the seams as soon as Fink inhabits it. Fascinating flick.
